What a self-serving statement! Christians leave the faith for a variety of reasons, and many of them were true believers. I was a Jesus freak as a kid, majored in religion, and spent a year in seminary. Dan Barker, a well-known musician, was a minister and also wrote cantatas that churches still perform. He's now a well-known atheist musician and hosts Freethought Radio every week in Wisconsin (also on podcast). People change, grow, adapt.
In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson: "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines."

Not at all, fanatics are the weakest kind of christian. they are the weakest in the mind by the fact that they are so unaccepting and cant see from anothers point of view (and i was saying that you should have a strong grip on your own religion before you try to convince others to join it or your "argument" is likely to fail). but anyways most fanatics break their own religion in their hatred of others so they are in essence the least faithful in their religion as well.

I don't know who said that, but if questioning and searching are signs of weakness, I guess I am. Oh and the biggest sign of weakness.......having a mind of my own and using it to the best of my abilities. Yes I am weak and very happy to be so, at least that gives me the freedom of choice etc.

"real Christian"???? No such element, if someone believes in Christianity then they're a Christian. "no longer something ought to ever make me end being a Christian" what's the wager you look again at this question at some destiny aspect and recoil with embarassment! "Christianity is a existence lengthy, unbreakable dedication to faith and trust in Christ." Erm no, it really is a faith. followers come and flow like with the different! "Jesus suggested you'd be born again. if you're born again and adjusted, are you able to be unborn? Jesus suggested His sheep hear His voice. Jesus suggested the daddy gave us to Him, and no man or woman will take carry persons out of His hand." Has it ever surpassed off to you that Jesus changed into no longer even genuine? Or a minimum of no longer genuine contained in the way that you spot him? EDIT "through definition, being a Christian skill you position the entire trust and faith in Christ." No, it skill you've faith in Christianity! the position contained in the dictionary lower than Christianity does it say that a Christian skill someone who "places their finished trust and faith in Christ"??? "for this reason, you've been no longer a christian." you could not tell human beings, somewhat human beings you do not even understand, what they were and what they weren't! So enable me get this immediately. you imagine it really is incorrect for persons to question such issues as your Jesus guy? you imagine it really is incorrect for persons to question faith and by no skill only settle for each little thing informed to them through somebody else without evidenece? it somewhat is fairly unhappy! human beings ought to question issues, if human beings did not question issues then human beings would by no skill get solutions! Why does your god no longer favor human beings to imagine? again it somewhat is fairly unhappy! EDIT "why do you sense this favor to cope with each question I submit?" Err yeah, it really is named questioning issues. Why do you anticipate to ask a question like this and that no one questions what you've placed? Are you that boastful that you imagine no one would like some solutions from you? and actually the way I set my answer out changed into to do you a favour so that you knew what i changed into replying to and why i changed into declaring what i have placed.
