Is the red apple eaten by Eve in Paradise a pomegranate ?

It doesn't say anywhere in the bible that it was an apple. Could have been a pomegranate, could have been a fig.

... Could have been a metaphor. ; )

It just calls it a fruit-not even an apple.

It well could of been as the Bible does not say what the fruit was.

bible scholars believe it was an apricot because they grow in that region
