Im always worried about what people think about me and it makes me really nervous a lot. Why?

It kinda depends on how old you are. If you are a teenager, this is pretty normal. I was constantly nervous and worried about what people thought when I was that age. You'll grow out of it. If you are an adult, you should probably seek out a good counselor. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you, but a counselor might be able to help you find some strategies for being less nervous around people.

First of all honey if you think about waht I am going to say i know you will understand. If you can realize that because of our human condition we are all programed that way,.. they are doing the same thing you are. They get up every morning to impress you, the whole world everyone does it whether they are conscience of it or not. When you know this you can feel more at ease with yourself and others. Don't worry about what others think of you, you do the best you have to work with and reapeat to yourself,...IT IS WHAT IT IS.

Some people get nervous because they think that they dont look good. Next time someone is lookin at you think about it like they are envying you. If you think positive and strut your stuf confidently Other people will see you in a new way.

Always think good about urself. B confident. Remember, u were born alone and will die alone. forget of how others may think of u.The world would not change with or without u OR with or without them.
Try this bcoz it helped me sometimes. Count ur steps while u walking in public. U wil forget people. practice this alot n u will overcome the problem. Good luck.

Perhaps try not to worry so much. Take time off to do what you like. don't always think of what pple think of you coz ur an individual and are unique with ur own talents and gifts.

You want to know what people think about you? They think you are nervous. Smoke a cigarette and you will feel better.

maybe u have low confidence or self-esteem. but im really not trying to make u feel bad...though. maybe, to boost ur self-esteem, you shud try not caring what other ppl say and knowing all the good things about ur self. recognize the good and not s0 much the bad. =) h0pe i helped!

Focus on making friends with yourself, or if that's too much, get to know yourself first. Once you know yourself it shouldn't matter if people are around or not. People are usually anxious about themselves too anyway.
