what is the best dvd burning software out there. preferably the free kind!

i have nero but when i try to do certain ones it says read error or something to that nature...have dv43 also....plus the one's i'm having trouble with copying are ones that have already been burned?

Nothing worth having is free. Roxio Easy Media Creator version 9 from http://www.newegg.com/ is simply the best for around $100 with tax and shipping. It let's you burn PS2 discs and minidiscs too.

dvd shrink,never had one bit of trouble with it.you need to read the documentation

use anydvd with nero works like a charm.

I saw this link in a magazine. I don't know anything about copying but it seemed detailed.

for movies you should try out DVDFab
http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
and also use Shrink to compress as both are free.
