I think Feng Shen Do works cause the guys who teach it are fighters. They have many attacks that can be used on the street for self defense.

Ok unfortunately I've never heard of Fang Shen Do, but from what I understand, it could have relavence to the joint manipulations employed by the I Ching Martial Arts discipline, which directly works with the Qigong and Tai Chi Chuan Martial Arts "families" which are also quite effective Martial Arts in their own right..
I Ching uses these manipulation techniques as submissions tactics, but I could be wrong. I'd have to look further into it.

No! It don't. They most likely don't even spar like most of Kung Fu. So it's useless. You cannot learn realistic fight by fighting air and role play.
