If you asked your children the same question, what would they say?Would there be a discrepancy between your answer and theirs? If so, why? What one thing could you do this week to help you and your children see more eye to eye?

If you already have regular family meetings, what works--and doesn't work-- about it? If you haven't yet tried a family meeting , why start one this week?( If your kids are older, expect the initial groans, but put your plan into action anyway.)

I THINK PARENTS KEEP TOO MUCH TO THEMSELFS THAT SHOULD BE SHARED, SO I DO AND IF I DO SAY SO MY SELF MY KIDS AND I HAVE A GREAT RELATIONSHIP. THEY ARE A BOY 12 AND A GIRL 7. I DIDNT LIKE MY MOM, STILL DON'T SO I SWORE TO DO IT DIFFERENT THAN SHE DID, AND SO FAR SO GOOD. I AM VERY OPEN MINDED FOR 42.

You did not say your age, but every household should have rules to follow, discipline measures, and consequences if not adhered to.when you have your own family maybe you Will see the need for this, as many households do not communicate today, or eat at the same table. Society has it where the mother has to work, b/c government want big tax dollars, this is the main cause of the family no longer being a family. There are more stresses on the working parents, as they juggle their everyday life. I just wish family could tel the government, hell no we mothers wont go to work, find a way to stay home with there children, so when the husband comes home, she can be a wife to him also!!!!!!
