Do they always smell funny or is something wrong with mine?

They smell funny, no it's not you. I only like the beef myself.

I’m not a big fan of Ramen Noodles anyway, least of all the shrimp kind. I do agree with you, though, the Shrimp Ramen Noodles smell funky!

Yeah, they do smell funny. I add lots of veggies to the pot while they are cooking. Cut into very small pieces: celery, onion, cabbage, carrot
