When I'm re-fueling at the pump, it takes a very long time to fill the tank because the fuel keeps backing up and cutting off the fuel nozzle. I am forced to fill extremely slowly. Is this normal; is this something the dealer can fix?

Yes dealership can check your fueling. First a little home work on your part. Ten gallons a minute is standard fill rate if the station your using excedes one gallon every six seconds you found the problem. Take the lawn mower can out and dust it off. Most likely something has struck the bottom of the gas tank or on board vapor recovery system is not working properly.

I don't have that problem, but I do notice if you don't screw on the gas cap and make it snap a couple of times, the serve engine soon light comes on. I mean everytime! if you don't screw the cap down super tight?? I know if the threads are lose it can get air inside, but I have never had to twist it like that.

I have a similar problem with my 2005,
if I make sure the nozzel is slightly pulled out,
not jammed in as tight as it will go,
It doesn't kick out.

I have not seen a repair for this problem.
