Seems like if you are stupid enough to eat that crap, then dying is your best alternative. Living on would cost society more in the long run. Isn't it like a modern day survival of the fittest? The animals who eat the poison die faster, and don't produce litters. Makes sense. So why are normal folks with at least average intelligence so mad over the contents of the food? Mad cow? Who cares, I got the burger for 99 cents. Score!

Why? Because their ill health puts a burden on the health care system and as a result my health insurance costs go up. They're feeding their kids this crap too, so they are raising a whole new generation of unhealthy people who will later have diabetes, atherosclorosis, coronaries, problems with weight-bearing joints, etc. etc. I see a lot of obese kids in my line of work, and it's sad that their parents have set them on a lifelong course of bad eating habits. In the end it affects us all.

Society "pays" the hospital bills.

They 'gimp' along, half alive, high blood pressure, diabeties, driving their car to the mail box. And then take 100 perscriptions that insurance pays for. Our premiums go up.
