Honestly, alot of it is genetics, but there is a very inexpensive vitamin called biotin, it has the biggest effects on the hair, skin, and nails. It is between $2.00 and $5.00. It has been rumored that prenatal vitamins are good for hair growth, but I think it may be the hormonal changes that your body goes through during the pregnancy. Try the Biotin, it is cheap and many of my clients swear by it.

taking your regular vitamins is good for your health, but most hair growth vitamins are phony , and the stores rip you off a lot of money. nothing can truly make hair grow faster- it grows on it's own, along with the help of perspiration in your scalp. getting it cut every 6 weeks to prevent split ends also helps better growth.
