Does the fact that everyone is going to die scare you? Why or why not?

This question isn't really for the Christians out there, because I know you aren't afraid to die. But I'd like to know what other think of it.

I'm not afraid to die, because I have seen enough in my lifetime to assure me that many things are worse than death. I don't wish to die anytime soon, and I hope my death is swift and painless. However, death is inevitable, and there is no point in spending time worrying about something that I cannot change or control.

For me personally I have no fear of death whatsoever, the way in which I could die causes more fear than death itself ever could. I am a Christian and believe when I die I will be with the Lord for all eternity as I believe all other Christians will be.
For those who are not Christian... I am very concerned for them but they have to make their own choices. I cannot force anyone to believe anything. I can only share with them what I have experienced and what I believe and why that takes the fear of death away from me.

.I'm a Christian, and no, the thought of dying doesn't scare me. The apostle Paul wrote: "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". So when I die, my last breath here will be my first breath in Heaven. Before His Crucifiction, the apostles were asking Christ where He was going.
Jhn 14:1 ¶ Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Jhn 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Jhn 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
Jhn 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Jhn 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

My thought on death, I'm going to be with my Lord and Savior.

No I don't scare of death...Face the fact that everyone has to face it one day and no one can escape...
the point here is how do I die? in a terrible manner or peacefully?

I am preparing now, that's why I am doing lots of good deed hoping if my god "abandon" me, at least I can reborn in a better family, enjoying good health and happiness, rather than going to face the king Yama for punishment for doing bad thing in this life.

We are all afraid to die, I know this because I did a poll with myself and the results of my test group said quite solidly that one hundred percent of those asked (me) were terrified of death. But it comes to us all and there is a great deal of work to be done before now and then.

I really don't want to die. I think to be really okay with it a person has to be insane. Even someone terminally ill and in excruciating pain for whom death is the only available relief would still rather get better than die.

die by my hand i creep across the land killing first born man.

had to quote metallica.

no death is something not to be feared but however it is and i do fear it. it is simply a transition. and since death is the end of fear we should not fear it. i think it is the unexplained that is most frightening. i do believe that there is more to us then just this body because what is the difference between somoen who is alive and someone is dead? what is that thing that escapes us when we breath our last?

It does not scare me at all....I died twice two years ago......I was clinically dead....and brought back...I know where I was-in heaven
I saw it and will never forget what I saw....It was the most beautiful place I've ever seen...other people that read this, will not believe me, but I know the Truth...I didn't want to come back, when I woke up, I was crying, sobbing, because I didn't want to come back....say what you will, it happened...DO NOT BE AFRAID...

It's not the end; just a new beginning. That's what gives us motivation to do good. Yes, the unknown is scary; that's why you should come as well prepared as possible (start racking the good deeds). Peace

No. Death is freedom from this realm. For the Believer in Christ, it is a promotion. For the unbeliever, it will be a sad surprise.
