Of course you can! It's YOUR day, do it however you want!

Lots of brides remarry in white. White means JOY! After all the first woman in history to wear it, wore it for remarriage:

Two famous women in history were known for the white wedding dress.

The first woman: Anne of Brittany in 1499. FIRST got married in white as a mother of FOUR CHILDREN for her THIRD MARRIAGE !

The second woman: Queen Victoria broke with royal tradition of getting married in silver and wore white for her wedding to her 1ST COUSIN! Ewww

The trend for every bride to now be a clone is not an old tradition. Even war brides had to wear whatever they could afford. Before Queen Victoria, a woman married in her best dress of whatever colour. White meant wealth and status as people couldn't afford to wear a white dress as a one off. Blue meant purity, that's why the Virgin Mary wears blue. Blue was the old white of today for brides. The blusher is what represents virginity.

"It was after World War II the white wedding dress became an indication of a woman's virtue.

Dr Summers said she believes the reason the tradition of the white wedding dress has survived, is due to the lack of romance and excitement in a woman's life. "

It is your wedding; you can wear whatever the hell you want to wear.
Seriously, I am so tired of hearing people say, "You can't wear white if you're not a virgin.. blah blah" because you know what? If white happens to be a persons favorite color and they're not a virgin, they can wear that dress. It doesn't matter, it's your choice.
Don't follow the stupid rules and/or superstitions that you hear people say about marriage.
White. Black. Red. Yello. Hot Pink... whatever, it's your choice!
And, congrats! Hope you have an amazing time on your honeymoon.

Wear whatever color you want to wear and if other people don't like it, well, that's ok. They can wear cream or beige or green or whatever at their OWN wedding. Wearing white symbolizes purity to most people but in your case it could signify a new beginning. I think it would be a beautiful decision.

Congratulations.

You can wear whatever you want and makes you comfortable. If you do not want to wear white-try a cream color or off white dress. A pretty blush color would be nice. It is not to bold. Hope this helps. Good luck!

You can, but you shouldn't wear it like a first-time bride. If you want a "bridal" ensemble don't wear white. If you want white, wear a suit or informal gown without a veil.

Ivory or a pastel is more flattering anyway and people won't chatter about it.

Yes you can wear white (symbolizing joy, not necessarily virginity!) but you should go without a train or a veil-- those are for first-time weddings only.

You can wear a pink tutu if you like. With weddings there really is no such thing as traditional anymore. Just do what makes you and your future hubby happy.
