I'm pretty sure He does answer them. Do you mean, why doesn't He answer them as I would want Him to???

God answers all prayers. sometimes the answer must might be no. Other prayers are perhaps asked by those who have not accepted Jesus as their savior, aren't answered because God will not look upon sin or a sinner. You must go to HIm cleansed of your sins, by repenting of them to Jesus before God will hear them, let alone answer them.
Sometimes God will say no to a specific request, because He has something better instore for you, and you must wait for His perfect timing .But the main reason a prayer will not be answered to a persons satisfaction is that they have not lived according to God's will and according to His laws.
Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Rememer the part of the Lord's prayer that says this..
"Thy will be done' It did not say "my will be done". So when you pray, you are to ask God to have His way in your life, and not what you want in your life. He knows what we all need. We don't necessarily get what we think we want in life.

Because what you want may not be best for you.
It is not in Gods will.
Or your time has not yet come.
Keep in mind if God is withholding something that you think is good chances are it is not a good thing see Psalm 84:11
You may not have what you want but God supplies all your needs Philippians 4:13.
I have learned the hard way there is more to life than getting what you want.

If you make intense supplication
and the timing of the answer is delayed
do not despair of it.
His reply to you is guaranteed
but in the way He chooses,
not the way you choose
and at the moment He desires
not the moment you desire.
- Ibn Ata'illa Iskandari
They are all tests from God; and once you pass you'll realize more and more prayers being answered. God bless. Have faith! :-D

God answers all prayer, but maybe not how we think it should be.
We do get what He thinks we need.
A parable to explain: a toddler sees a fire in the fireplace and likes the glow. The child approaches the fireplace to get a handful of the glowing stuff because its pretty. The father sees the child crawling toward the fire and stops him.
The baby is angry and cries because it did not get what it wanted. Did the father do the right thing in denying the child what it wanted?

God always answers prayer. Sometimes He just says NO.
What we want isn't always what's best for us. And I've heard
many a witness where someone really wanted something, and
couldn't understand why God didn't let them get it. Only to
get something like it, but even better on down the line.

God always answers prayers, its just that sometimes he says NO. I have found out that in the long run it has been HE that was right and me wrong.

if no prayer, no answer
I do not pray and provide all my own needs according to Nature and skills learned in this life
by talking out loud to "god" some people are just talking to self and hoping to also become the answer to prayer, or 'be the miracle' but can't connect the dots of self to god...god to self
they are god itself

God hears and anwers all prayers. The answer may be "yes" or "no" or "not yet."
God can only do what is good. If we ask for something that is not good, God cannot give it.

He probably doesn't answer your prayers for the same reason Santa doesn't always bring you what you ask him for.Focus on self reliance and reality and you will fare better.

God has never healed an amputee. Think about it...We've had cameras for over 150 years yet there isn't ONE case of an amputee who has ever prayed to god and received a new limb in that time. Don't you find that odd???
