My son can't speak so I want to try signing.

However, I highly suggest talking to a professional if you think your son might have a disability. Early intervention is absolutely essential. Depending on what the issue might be, a professional may suggest not using sign language. Sometimes a child has the potential to learn to speak but then prefers to use sign language and not try to speak since he or she has already been introduced to sign language.

Also, try singing with your son whenever you can. Studies in music therapy have shown with different populations that some people learn to sing before they can speak. With certain disabilities there is just a connection with music that happens a little easier and faster than with just spoken word.

You didn't state how old your son is? If he is in school now, then the school should be teaching these programs to help him. If not, you may have to find a special school for your son's problem. Just search for American Sign Language or ASL.

yes go to google and click on images the type in sighn language and a picture of the sighn language will be there rember go to images it always works I hope i helped if not im sorry
