i need to submit this project tomorrow and i only had wordpad which doesnt has the double spacing option
does any of you know a free word program ?

Just use Wordpad but after every sentence hit ENTER twice to get the
double space.... may take you longer but is a good short term solution to
your problem
OR you could write your project and at the end go back to each sentence
and hit enter while clicking where the end of the sentence is with your
mouse.

Go to Openoffice.org. They have a free suite of programs equivalent to Microsoft Office, including the word program. You can open existing MS Word programs with it.

AbiWord. It is free. I use mine all of the time, it's great! Check it out. Completely free, no ads or pop-ups associated with it at all.

Make spaces between the lines with your space-bar.
I tried this method and it works brilliantly for me!
