about a week ago i told my man friend i liked him and of course i'm female any way i didn't hear from him for a week then on saturday night he totally acted like i didn't exsit when we ran into each other. well on sunday he called me and told me he missed his friend and we been talking as if nothing as happened my question is is this his way of telling me he likes me or if he just really misses his friend i have noticed one thing different in our talks he doesn't talk about other females to me anymore and he keeps asking me when i' going to come down and see him and he also told me he was going out of town this weekend and told me where he was going and told me not to worry no other females will be there just his family i'm totally confused here help me

Your man friend has been put on the spot unexpectedly by your comment and his reaction is quite normal as he is probably not shore of his feelings being the same as yours just give him a little time say about a couple of weeks and then bring up the subject of your feelings again try to make him understand that you value his friendship and only want him to know of your true feelings for him be prepared for an answer that you may not like but remember he is only being honest with you and you should not consider this as an end to your friendship instead see it as an opportunity to keep a good friend and also start looking for another true love best of luck
p.s. true love is worth the search its how i found my wife.

Guy's are usually pretty straight to the point. He may just be looking for "the benifits" If he got scared at the prospect of being more than friends be careful!!! Usually the older a guy gets the less he beats around the bush if he is interested in you.

Well....you are 30 years old so I would say just sit down and talk. Spill your guts. If he is really a friend you should be able to talk about this with him. Ask questions to what you want to know.

it sounds has if your man there doesn't no how to act in a relationship, you could say he is scare of one. maybe it's a sexual thing who knows. try talking to him when you can and get as much information as you can. maybe friends is all your suppose to be with him good luck

i think he was confused and needed time to think about what you had told him cause sometimes freinds becomming couples can be complicated cause once your a couple you cant go back to being friends but i would say that he has thought about it and wants to be with you

I think he has developed feelings for you.(I know you didn't want any girls answering...but this is my opinion, anyway...) The fact that he is reassuring you that there won't be any females pretty much says it all.
