If God appeared to you right now, what would you say to him? And athiests, just don't say He doesn't exist. For the sake of the question just pretend that this is happining. What would you honestly say to Him? Whatever beliefs you may have, I want to know what questions you would ask, any compliments or complaints.

Ah, it's You! You've waited before making and appearence, havn't You? Right, now that I do have Your attention I have a few bones to pick with You. Where the bloody hell have You been? Where is this messiah? When we were led to our deaths all over Europe, when we were made to get naked and step into gas chambers, when babies were torn from their mother's trembling arms, where the hell were You? When children were informing their own parents, when father's had to carry their murdered children to be burned, where the hell were You?
You would never leave us nor foresake us? What was it, Your day off? Every day I have prayed to You in the simple hope that You would bring us some remedy, every day I have fed the hungry and defended the maligned, the gay, the divorced, single parents, the list goes on. I listen to children who are depressed and the families of suicide victims. I watch the news and see catalyst bombs falling in villages inhabited by the world's poorest people. I see destruction all around me and my closest friends turning from the faith because they have lost all hope. Now that You have decided to turn up, well, its too damn late. Millions suffering and here I am defending You. Ach!
Now that You have turned up, You can do the work from now on, I'm going on holiday and I'm off to find a better G-d!

Well I am an atheist, but it appears to me that someone isn't studying their bible.

Exodus 33:20
There shall no man see me, and live.

John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time.

In other words, if God appeared, I would be asking why he is violating his own laws.

God appears to me every day of my life. Just look all around you. None of what we have in this world would exist without God being there too. I talk to Him every day, and several times a day at that. I praise Him all day long. God comes second in my life to none.

RM,I have been blessed with meeting two living saints.the first appeared to me in a vision,I prostrated myself at his feet and touched his feet, totally awed by the unconditional LOVE. the second, when i went to meet her if i got as near as 50 feet of her i would start weeping, the unconditional LOVE was awesome. Now,If God appeared I would bow and touch his feet (if allowed) and ask "GOD WHAT WOULD YOU PLEASE IMPART TO ME, NOW" . LOVE whistle britches

I would drop to my knees, kiss His feet and praise Him for his grace. I would hold Him like a child holds her daddy. Of course if God himself did appear to any human they would die instantly because we cannot be in the presence of His greatness physically until we are in Heaven in a new form.

O Matra Luna Regina i thank you for simply having let me had this chance to live.
Sorry I tend to think more in terms of Goddess. But that would really be my answer. All other quetions I have would have been caused by my own actions, as well as any complaints. why blame she who is most wise for what I myself have done?

I would say "Thank you for Jesus - my Savior. Please take me to Heaven now. Praise you dear Lord God." Can't really think of anything else. I talk to Him all the time - so really about the same things.

I guess the most common question would be, why is there so much suffering in the world and why do bad things happen to good people?

if by God you mean the Christian God. then i would say.

Why do you, and all powerful God, ALLOW your followers to commit murder in your name?

Why do you ALLOW your followers to FORCE you on others when your own SON refused to do this?

Why do you THREATEN your followers with an eternity in hell
if they loose faith in you as they die, as most men will?

Why do you make every natural instict of Man out to be a SIN?

if by God you mean any god that i happen to worship. then i would say...

"so should i pack my stuff or will i not be needing it anymore?"

I have no questions for my gods. if i had questions for them then i probally would not worship them.
