I'm from Philadelphia. The best cheesesteaks come from Mom & Pop corner restaurants anywhere in Philly (never, ever Pat's or Geno's; they use cheez whiz!).
New Jersey and Delaware have some Mom & Pops that do it right, but not many.
There is 1 place in Los Angeles that comes close, but not close enough.

Pat's at 9th and Wharton& Passyuk, created this in 1930...it remains the ultimate and REAL Philly Cheese Steak...undeniably the best.
