I just got a kitten, she's 5 months old. She likes to pick pieces of her poop from her litter box and play with it. Is this normal and how can I stop her from doing this?

this is normal for kittens to be curious in strange ways. it is a habbit that can be broken with simple steps. you should probably buy her some toys, feathery stuff. also when she does that say no in a firm, but nice voice and make her stop. she will probably grow out of this habbit, but if she doesnt just try to take away all the possible problems (poop) lol. oh yeah and there is no suck thing as stupid questions, so dont listen to people who think it is stupid to ask this question. good luck!

Ya...my girlfriend's cat plays with her poop all the time. I thought her cat was the only cat in the world that did this. Spray the cat with water. They hate this

Yeah it is normal...in fact kittens can pick up the strangest things to play with...she will most probably outgrow it but I agree, its not the nicest habit to have! LOL

Out of my 2 Kittens this has never happend to me. Dont restrict her i would honestly ask a vet if i could lol

Maybe she needs some toys, try getting a covered litter box or one of those automaticlly cleaning ones.

oh my god, this is the most insane ything i've ever heard in my entire life, what is wrong with it I have no idea! you need to take it to a vet and get it some serious help ASAP OOOHHMYGOD

Get a vet.
Another idea is to maybe clean her litterbox more often...
