I've heard of Bingo being played to have fun and raise money for the church. I think that Jesus would give it a thumbs up. Never heard of gambling in a church before, I don't think that would be approved.

No He does no longer approve, different than for the giving of ones advantages to the less fortunate (Jesus' disciples carried with them a handbag for the unfavourable). i individually have self belief on the same time because it is handy to have homes to fulfill collectively in for prayer, worship and so on. it is getting fairly tiresome, and burdensome to the congregations. some persons have self belief (and that i've got even heard older Christians say that they choose to bypass to a church the place God is) that to speak with The Almighty God, we could bypass to a church. we are the church! God never had to stay in temples made with mankind's arms (Acts 7:40 8; 17:24). It replaced into of necessity in circumstances previous yet no longer in the hot Covenant. To be rather trustworthy however, i will understand why a gathering place is needed, yet, oh what vast superb places we build, and who pays? What did Jesus say on the subject of the temple in Jerusalem (that He replaced into in fact continuously vacationing to have communication with the leaders and the easy people there), replaced into it no longer that even though it had taken mankind some 40 years to construct it, no longer one stone could be left upon yet another, and in a short area of years, it replaced into so! homes are temporal, however the human spirit is eternal, and that's the place God somewhat takes up residence (if we replace into born-lower back).

I don't think that those who practice such in the house of God are the true Church.
If Jesus overthrew the money changers, I would dare say that he would do the same for Bingo tables.

The Catholic cult is not His church, it never was and will never be His church. And gambling is a sin, especially for the fact that roman soldiers gambled for His robe while he was dieing on the cross.

Jesus would whip the moneychangers in the modern churches, just like He did 2000 years ago.

I'm sure He would disapprove. Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple and said His Fathers house should not be a den of thieves.

I think he would have to tear the place up like he did before!there are enough other places to do this besides at Church.AT the Church of God where we go ,if we take some food as a gift to give to another member we leave it in our car & give it to them later outside!!

Jesus concerns are not about the building but the body of Christ who is the church.

I think he died about 2000 years ago, his views are probably irrelevent. I don't think Bingo was invented yet. Anyway, I think most people would call it sort of a small sin, if at all.

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
