a 22 year old had a one night drunken fling and fell pregnant to this man and before this she has had a bad time with men in the past and when she had her child she changed and 3 years later she has never been with another man or been in a serious relationship with a man and devote all her time with her child she would like to meet a nice man but is too scared to and she might have to tell him about her childs father who she hasnt seen since that night she conceived her child should she tell him? and if yes at what point in the relationship should she tell him? and will he have any respect for her knowing what he knows about her?

Um just be honest really. at least that way you know the true sense of the person based on what their reaction is. you shouldnt be ashamed of your child hey it wasnt the best of circumstances to concieve but you have an awesome child as a result.

Firstly you don't need to tell the guy anything personal like that until it develops into a serious relationship, you trust him and he is treating you with respect and care. You don't need to tell a guy everything about your life after a few dates, this does not mean you are being untruthful with him it just means you are being cautious and protecting yourself. Don't tell him anything personal until you feel the time is right. And if he does not like how you conceived your child then he'll just have to get over it.

If you care enough about a person to think of entering a committed relationship with them then you should care enough about them to be honest with them. Trying to hide it only makes you less trustworthy.

its always best to be honest and a decent person would respect her honesty. if someone really cares for her, it will not matter.
