Wow, i have so many lol. My favorite was making a person from poster board, (leaving him in 'undies') Then making different clothes for him to wear depending on the weather (rain clothes, snow clothes, summer clothes etc) Directly next to him for the older children was a description of the weather, temperature (for older children they actually had to go outside and read the old thermometer, and then compare their readings to what the weather channel said) I used this in tandem with our morning routine (what month/day/year etc was all there) I think this gives under 6 set some concept about how weather affects our daily lives without bogging them down with too much technical info. And if they ask questions (as mine always would) be prepared to spend some time getting more technical about how weather actually works. Sheesh i made this long sorry.

Rain fall guage...chart it
Temperature readings, draw a chart...
Wind sock, wind strength, wind directions.
Clouds, how many, what size, shape, naming clouds
Make a weather forecast using yahoo Weather.

Get some books on these and get some simple science kits from the Nasco Science Catalogue.

You want a good idea, put your kid into public schools. That's a good idea, and answers your question; how you going to report me anyway? I answered your question. But I report you for threatening ME. You've just been reported. Twice.
