Protiens are made of amino acids. They are responsible for building tissues, creating hormones and creating metabolic and other chemical reactions via enzymes (specialized proteins).

Proteins can be found in vegetables and in animal products. Complete proteins can only come from animal products but if you combine different vegetable proteins, you can create complete proteins in a meal.

Eggs, meats, poultry, and fish. Rice and beans together make a complete protein Also beans and corn together do the same. Peanuts, nuts have protein but are higher in fat. Soy beans have protein. This is all general info
