The red is usually just a lot of food coloring, so the flavor is whatever cake you use (usually just a chocolate), and who doesn't love cream cheese frosting? If you like a "regular" chocolate cake and the frosting, then it's a no-brainer, you're gonna love it--with or w/out the red food coloring in the cake!

Cream Cheese Frosting: 2 (8 ounce) programs cream cheese, softened a million/2 cup butter, softened 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar a million teaspoon vanilla extract guidelines In a medium bowl, cream at the same time the cream cheese and butter till creamy. mix contained in the vanilla, then steadily stir contained in the confectioners' sugar. save contained in the refrigerator after use.

mmm... it's the best cake, in my opinion - always a hit with customers (I own a bakery). Like a rich chocolate, but the the cream cheese frosting takes down the sweetness. mmmmmmmmmm
