It's broken down like this: 1 year of school and you can be a LPN or a Licensed Practical Nurse, 2 years of school and you are a RN with an Accosiate's Degree, 3 years of school and you are what is considered a nurse with a Graduate Degree, 4 years and you have your BS or a bachelors in science, 6 years and you have a masters. You can teach nursing when you have a masters. After that you can go even further and become a nurse practioner. This is one of the highest levels of nursing itself. Depending on your field in nursing is what determines "a level"

I would say Cna would be the lowest level.I have been a Cna for many yrs.The next step would be an Lvn which takes about a yr of schooling if you go full time to a technical college.Next would be an Rn.I believe that takes 3 yrs.I think the medical field is a good field if you keep going to school and moving up in rank, unlike myself I got stuck in a rut.I now want a better career without much schooling,so I am going to school for realestate.
