OOOOhh Yeah! Changes my commands, locks caps, pumps up the volume, prints stuff....YUP! If you have a drawer close to your keyboard, put a towel over whatever's in it & let him lay there. It's worked for us (sometimes). If you think about it the board's keys are exactly the kind of surface cats are fascinated with....it makes sounds (even when off), the flexable keys move when you move or lay down, it's very cat sized (they love to "just fit" in some places....especially precarious ones). I just love it that my cat wants to be with ME!, whatever I may be doing at the moment.

I sit on the keyboard, and if that doesn't work I stand in front of the monitor. Leave the silly thing alone and pay attention to your cat; it's the most important creature on the planet. Well, next to me.

Yours truly,
Rosie the Cat

Always remember: dogs have owners; cats have staff.

Yeppers, just about each cat I ever had has performed that. while she types stuff while i'm sending a message, I purely tell human beings my cat says hi! additionally they insist in sitting on books i'm analyzing and pawing on the telephone while i'm speaking. annoying little buggers, are not they! i admire them for it, nevertheless.

My cat loves to sit on the mouse when I am using my laptop. She often tries to get on the computer itself. It usually means that she just wants some attention--wants me to take my attention off the computer and give it to her, preferably, undivided attention.

Sleeping on the keyboard might be your cat's way of keeping you off the computer, or it could be her way of scentmarking the keyboard.

Well my cat does that too. She doesn't sleep on it but she'll sit next to it a lot and does always want to be on it when I'm on the computer. When you are there they just want attention, she probably nudges your hands when your there huh? They just love attention. She may sleep on it because she knows you'll be there later or somemething. Silly kitty!!

I have a laptop, and if I didn't move it when I'm sitting on the couch, she would sit right on it. My cat is seriously some kind of super glue.
Cats just want to be near their owners.

Yes, mine (I have 2 - litter mates) fight over who will sit on it. Eventually, They will lay on top of each other on the edge of my desk. My smallest, Gypsy, will try to catch the screen as I scroll up or down if Phoebe is not around it.

Mine does. Thank goodness someone else has this problem. I think the fascination is the texture, Cats love different textures.

my cat is laying here half draped across my keyboard right now. I have to scoot her butt off of the top portion of it every now and then, because she keeps pressing buttons!
