About the sniffs......

Carrying a lot of luggage at one time has always been difficult for me. I'm not quite sure. I think I find that one suitcase is the answer to all my needs. You know? The one that doesn't just open up and you "toss it all in" like all normal luggage. The one that has all of the secret compartments. And not just secret compartments. It has so many varying options. You are constantly finding new places to bury your belongings. It doesn't just become a convenience......it becomes necessary.

Then new luggage is being manufactured every day. You turn around.....and WOW......another new and improved version. You actually then stop and question the necessity of your old bag. Should you branch out and try the new stuff? Oh man it really seems cool and wow it has abilities that one never dreamed of!!

But then you look at the old bag and realize its loyalty....its purpose. You don't want it to be forgotten.

So for me.......I wish all people just would take one carry on bag to heaven. But is that realistic? Probably not.

But whatever the decision, let's hope the old bag still gets to stick around for some of the excitement during life.

The overhead compartment is infinitely large so it is no problem at all. However, there are no bellhops at the Pearly Gates so you will have to carry everything in yourself. No wheels allowed either because they might scuff the streets paved with gold.
Be sure you tag all your luggage because if it gets sent to the wrong place it is absolute h*** getting it back!
If you have a lot of baggage it's best you get a handle on it now before departure. It's really just too much to be lugging around all the time.

Dweeby, I know. I put a question up. I'm not clever with them like you.

When I reach the pearly gates, when I ring the bell and wait.I will take a look and see. Do I have too much with me? Is my suitcase too bizarre? Is my purse stuffed way too deep? Should I travel back to Earth? Would the journey be too steep? I hope I'll pass the final test. I hope I 'm not a total mess. When it comes my fateful date. Will they say I'm over weight?

I hear that!!
It says in the Bible that "Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18
"Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.” PSALM 51:7
We may have a lot of 'baggage' but he is the one that carries the load when you accept his forgiveness, not you.
When he died on the cross he bore it ALL. He was the perfect sacrifice, our ticket to heaven was paid on his back when they scourged him. He is our intercessor. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
1st Pet 2:24
In essence, you have no baggage to claim, it was all his centuries ago when he died on that cross. Because of him, you get to travel light, NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!
I have to believe this because of the life I lead prior to knowing his grace.

When you go to heaven you don't need to take ANY bags....you leave it all behind....everything in heaven is greater than whatever you think you need to take.
