I think you meant the items 'you can't bring' .... there's many more legal things than illegal things

First of all the guy who said you can make it one week with 50 bucks is a little wrong. Guadalajara is not so cheap. I live there :-).
As far as I know you can bring pretty much everything you may need, I mean except for drugs, or alcohol. You can also bring a lap top with you, your mobile, a video camera a photo camera.
You can´t bring fruit and vegetables, apart from the usual worldwide forbiden stuff.
