Who wins Sherk vs Florian, Hughes vs St Pierre, Franklin vs Silva, Liddell vs Ortiz, Sylvia vs Monson and why?

Florian will submit Sherk. He is good in jiu-jitsu and is on top of his game right now.

Hughes will beat St. Pierre. Hughes is too well rounded and skilled for GSP. GSP will always have my respect as a fighter, but all that trash talk made Hughes a little more than irritated and Hughes will definately win.

Franklin vs. Silva will be a good fight. They are bothe excellent strikers, but I have to go with Franklin. Franklin is a good striker and a pretty good grappler, Silva has experiance in PRIDE and knocked out Chris Leben, and everyone thought Chris would beat Anderson Silva, but Franklin has more experiance and is a better fighter.

Liddell is going to knock out Tito Ortiz again. His sprawl is second to none and his stance is so unorthodox you don't know what punch is coming next.

Sylvia will beat Monson if he utilizes his long pesky jab. If Monson gets past that jab he will win because of that short overhand right that he does so well.

Pretty much same as others with some small exceptions..

Sherk vs. Florian: I am actually going with Sherk, good wrestling/power I think Sherk will take Kenflo down a few times, and will probably get some decent ground and pound, then it will go to Decision and Kenflo will lose due to Sherk controlling most of the fight. Sherk is a great wrestler, and very intense, this is very contrary to Kenflo' style, Think Diego Sanchez, Kenny doesn't do well with someone like Sherk who can press the pace.

Hughes vs. St. Pierre. This is a tough one actually, St. Pierre did a good job at keeping Hughes from the big takedown, his own rookie inexperience costed him at the end of the round and Matt took advantage. I think St. Pierre is well rounded enough to beat Matt, but it is going to have to be by knockout or decision. I don't see him subbing Matt. That being said I still think Matt is on a tear right now, and will end up beating St. Pierre.

Frankling vs. Silva. The only way I see Rich winning this one is on the mat, and frankly Anderson Silva is a better BJJ than Rich, and if Carlos Newton and Jeremy Horn can't submit him, I don't see Rich doing it. Frankly unless Anderson Silva just has a poor showing (ala Louiseau) Anderson Silva is probably going to knock Rich out, which sucks because I like Rich, but Anderson Silva is a deadly *** fighter.

Liddell vs. Ortiz:
Same as before, Chuck's takedown defense is too good, and Tito will get knocked out. Tito is a great fighter, don't get me wrong, but Chuck is a better natural striker. However Tito trains hard as hell, and will definately not gas, so Chuck better be ready for the long haul.

Sylvia vs. Monson:
I actually see this one going to Monson, submission guys have put a hurting on Tim before, and Jeff Monson is one of the best there is. If Frank Mir can beat Tim, I think Jeff Monson will probably tap him out, or break something one of the two. Jeff is heavy handed too, but I don't see him sitting there swinging, and Tim's jab is far too lazy. I see Monson coming in quick, getting a strong takedown, and working Tim on the mat. It may be a rinse and repeat process, but eventually Monson will catch him in something.

Florian will kill Sherk, but watch out if BJ Penn drops weight and fights as a little weight again.

Hughes and GSP? Hands down Hughes, all that trash talking by GSP makes it easier for Hughes to want to stomp him into the ground.

Franklin and Silva? Toughy, but I'd give an edge to Franklin, but Silva has some heavy hands and mad skills.

Tito and Chuck? Gotta give it to Tito for the rematch. After Tito crashes and embarasses Ken.....AGAIN. He'll be amped up for Chuck.
