You control your own life! Quit hiding behind your medicine. After 17 years on a benzo, you Are addicted! I have been there!!! Size of town doesn't matter!! Get a different doc and a better therapist. Report that pharmacist to the DEA. I worked in a pharmacy and it is against the law to do such a thing.

How rude of that person to call you an addict. I wouldn't appreciate that at all either. Just because you take xanax does NOT mean that you are an addict. If you have an anxiety disorder then xanax is a good drug of choice. Hope you feel better. People that have little education on medicine or any kind of health disorders shouldn't talk about what they don't have a clue about. It shows ignorance. Don't let it bother you too much.

I understand anxiety and I am glad that your pharmacist told you to take more...Alot of ppl don`t understand depression with anxiety I do....Take care of yourself and God Bless because we really need it! Someone who shares and cares!
