How do we deal with Islamic Extremists?

Some people believe that you cannot battle terrorists with battles...and that war is against terrorism is not the answer. Please tell me how we deal with people who are sworn to kill us and everything we stand for in the name of religion...AND...they are rewarded eternally for this actions...PLEASE TELL ME?

Kill or be killed.

I struggle with this thought every day, but I think that a 21st century halocaust might be the unfortunate answer. Like in post-war Germany with the Nazis, people need to swear allegiance to our way of life or be dealt with. Whether it be re-education, inprisonment, or even death I don't know and frankly don't care all that much. For the same reason I don't feel sorry for Tim McVeigh's fate I don't think I'd feel all that sorry for people who rejoice when Americans and Israelis die.

It may be a little hypocritical to suggest what I just did when considering our way of thinking is to be open and accepting of other religions or cultures, but there are tens (if not hundreds) of millions of Muslims who would like to see us either die or convert to Islam. Are we supposed to just let them just come along and kill us all?

Unfortunately, those who've already committed themselves to an existence of hatred cannot be saved. However, the reasons they became that way can be fixed. Islam can be moderated, the outlook of young Arabs improved by security, good government, guarenteed non-extremist education, and oppurunities to succeed. Some one who lives in a a dump and has no hope for the future is easily swayed by the promise of Paradise.

We must also accept what we've done to garner their hatred. The West hasn't been kind to the Middle East. They have propped up dictators, reneged on promises, and generally haven't been very nice. We must change that. We have to respect the fact that they are an independant people and not prop up dictators, but quietly encourage democracy. Our war is with Al-Qaeda and other extremists, not with Arabs, and that must be made clear, and unfortunately, that may be impossible. But the way we're going about things now simply isn't working. We've engendered more hatred for America, and the blood of innocent Iraqis is on our hands just as the blood of extremists is. From the cynical perspective of a young Arab who has no future and nothing to live for except hatred for America, there is no difference between Zarqawi and the little girl who died because a US bomb was off target....

If they wish to fight a religious war against us. then we should fingt back on a religious front.

fight the war with soldiers and guns, as we are doing now.

BUT,

When they send a suicide bomber to kill out troops, they tell this bomber that he will go to heaven and get 72 virgins for killing us.

However. if you know something about their beliefs. you can take this away from them.

If you wrap their body in the skin of a swine (pig) then their spirit cannot go to heaven because their body is unclean. this is why they cannot eat pork.

so how do we stop the suicide bombings and terrorist threat.

when we get a body, we wrap it in pig skin, stuff the stomach and mouth with pig meat, and bury them on a swine farm.

we do that and we will no longer have the suicide bombers.

However this would fuel anti american beliefs among muslims.
they would be forced to fingt us in a war with defined sides though.

all of this would be extreme in the most extreme sinse of the word.

i really think that we should just quit buying their oil.(we have more oil in alaska than they have in most of the middle east anyway) then we quit sending humanitarian aid to them.
then we quit purchasing anything that they have.

we defend our borders, and if they choose to attack us again, then we declare an all out war on any nation that harbors or funds any terrorist orginization. and we do not stop untill everything in that nation is dead. No cease fores, no peace treaty. No rebuilding after we bomb the hell out of them. compleat destruction. that is the only thing that these people understand.

Let me tell you something, the terrorists of 9/11 lived in the U.S. for 2 or 3 years before they did what they did. 2 years in the land of the free, with beautiful women walking around, nice food, nice movies and weather. One of them even had a girlfriend, and she never knew about the attacks, he just called her to say goodbye on 9/11.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction; what might I ask are Islamic extemists reacting to? A self proclaimed messiah once said that we should turn the other cheak and pray for those who do us harm, though I do not agree with what this man said of himself (with sincere respect to those who do) I do accept that what he said here is valid. We can stop Islamic extremists by not becoming Christian or Jewish extremists.

FIRST of all... who told you they are rewarded??? You think its maybe god's way of maybe having them kill them selves only to be quickly removed from earth so god can punish them in the hell fire.

Terrorism is injustice against humanity and is completly forbiddin in islam. Why do you see terrorists? Because they are uneducated minds in the middle east that are influenced by what i believe is the devil. They are NOT rewared. They are punished, I believe.

To deal with terrorist (i don't wanna say they're islamic because thats just combining too opposite meanings together just like saying 'hey its hot-cold') anyway..to deal with them you must defend your self first, defend you and your beloved. If they attack,,,simply kill them. yes thats right... if they attack..simply kill them because you are fighting for your and your loved ones life. so yes kill them.

We need to send real muslims who practice Islam the way it is supposed to be practiced and try to cure their blindness. Also Bush needs to stop bullying other countries. Its getting old. In the meantime, please do not base Islam on some of the messed up muslims in the east.
