The fact that you are asking this questions shows you know nothing at all about breeding. Are either of these dogs show dogs? Have they been tested for and certified free of hip dysplasia? Elbows tested? Have they been checked for heart murmurs?

Back yard breeders with no understanding of genetics, of their dog's pedigree, with not even any knowledge of how to breed or how to look after puppies have no business breeding. The temperament of rottweilers is being ruined by irresponsible people breeding dogs solely to make money, irregardless of the dogs' temperaments.

They shouldn't be sold. Just because a dog is pure bred does not mean that the dog should be bred at all. There are so many dogs in needs of a home in shelters that the world does not need another batch of puppies. And who's to say you'll find a home for all the puppies? Do you have the money to spend on taking care of the puppies when they are born (shots, exams, etc)? Will you be doing background checks on the people you sell them to? It's really just not worth it, and if you really love your dog you won't put her through it. Dogs do not need to have puppies to have complete happy lives. And having puppies puts her at risk for so many different diseases pertaining to the uterus.

Do not breed or buy while shelter dogs die!

It depends on the bloodlines. Anotherfactor is breed standard. Backyard pets should not be bred as there are too many dogs in need of homes.

u have to know the lineage of both parents and use that as a factor for pricing them and also take in what the puppy farms r selling them for and ur local pet stores to get an average. of course there is always the fact of what people are willing to pay.

I know my fiance paid $2500 for his bich (misspelled due to filters) with papers AND breeders licents. Her parents wre purebred german rotts as well. Both champion show dogs. Just to give you a ball park range. She was purchased in South California 7 years ago. I'm not sure if it would have changed.
