Having recently graduated college, in retrospect, I have come to the conclusion that some people are in the wrong profession.

Unfortunately, in your case, it sounds like your stuck with this "mean" teacher for the entire school year.

So make the best of it! Try and get on their good side. Getting better grades helps (easier said than done, I know). And most importantly, if you feel that your teacher is genuinely picking on you for no good reason, go to your parents. A parent/teacher conference doesn't have to be a bad thing. Explain to your parents how you feel and what has been going on. Again this might not be the case, but it could help you out.

I've had two mean teachers one in 6th grade and one in 7th grade the 6th grade teacher made my life totally miserable I never did anything wrong, but I was always staying after school. One thing I could never figure out; why my mom never questioned why I was being kept after school so often. Somehow I made it out of 6th grade and my 7th grade teacher was the oldest biddy you could imagine. Totally unfair in her discipline. She never told us her rules, just punished us when we disobeyed her unspoken rules. Teachers are people too

Yeah, I sure do. Everyone has those teachers that you just can't get along with. If he/she becomes a real problem, just try to get your teacher changed! =]

Maybe you should take a look at the reasons you are getting into trouble and not do them?? Maybe he/she is being mean because you are disrupting the class and she/he is getting annoyed at you??

Try to look at it from the teachers prospective!

Yes...my calculus teacher barely explains the problems well enuf 2 understand. He's proud of being a jerk, according to him. He tried prooving it by taking a jelly bean off the floor...rubbing it on his foot...& eating it. Gross! He also thinks he's so sarcastic...I can barely understand half his "jokes".

If your teacher is a female, buy her some Midol for christmas.
She'll leave you alone after that!

Just try to have a talk with him/her.
Like, after class...
Just say "Hey...erm...Mr/Mrs ____....It kinda seems like you pick on me more than anyone else in the class....I was wondering why?"
