Christian profess faith in God. Therefore, heaven is something you have to believe in. Yet, why is heaven something we cannot get excited about? The promise of heaven is something that should commit us to really work for God. And in the process, like what Jesus did for example, if we should die in a couple of months doing the will of God, then it's great . . . we'll be with Him for eternity. Isn't that awesome ! Ah, well, hmm . . . why can't we get excited about heaven?

Who says we can't?

I personally don't get excited for the simple fact that I cannot conceive of it. It is beyond my ability to comprehend--at this point, anyway. More may be revealed to me.

Mostly because we cannot imagine what heaven will be like, remember that in the end, there will be a new heaven and a new earth. Also, many of us focus on trying to get a revelation about ourselves, trying to assure our entrance into heaven, we may be saved, but it is just as exciting to get a revelation of change in our lives and watching the Lord do what He does best, miracles.
