He had an adviser that was good. He was a topic of 60 Minutes.
They titled him 'The most powerful man you'll never see'.
He was Bush top adviser and speech writer.
I wish I could remember his name, but he is the one responsible for the "You're either with us or against us" mentality.
The expression is from the Bible and the adviser knew, whether us peasants knew where the expression came from or not, it would sound good.
This man, Condi, and a few others are the ones that take one of the dumbest man that could possibly be president, and keep him half way articulate and presentable to the world.
Luk 11:23 He that is not with me is against me, ............

No Georgie Porgie is getting his antics from his stupid days out in the oil rich towns of Odessa and Midland Texas. There was nothing for a rich brat like him to do so he just thought up stupid things he was going to do when he grew up. Well he aged, I am not very sure he will ever grow up. Between him and the Pope I think we are in for a long road a head, dabled with death violence and ignorance. When you have a bear at the back door you don't open it and stick your tongue out at him and then slap him. Just not a wise move cause you know after you have done the deed, you no the milla-second after, crap that was not a smart thing to do.

From Mark 9 in the Bible. One of the headings for a section is entitled "Whoever Is Not Against Us Is for Us". that is where he derives it from, i assume.

Hard to say...but maybe?
Even if not directly, it still may be related to the concept that you are either on the side of good or the side of 'evil', and 'naturally' his side is the assumed the 'good' side (by him), so if you are against him... It's possible that attitude is from being raised with similar concepts related to his religion.

I don't think so. I think that our President is being necessarily clear about where we stand on our pursuit of these organizations. There can be no "gray area". You will cooperate with our effort or be considered part of the problem. Withhold information and you harbor our enemy. Draw the line and make them step on one side.

Let me clear this up for you. He was actually being very helpful.
You are either with us or against us, but he also goes on to say you are either evil or good, so to sum it all up:
With.......or.......Against
Evil.........or.......Good
Pick a side
