The Bible does NOT say that there will be no more prophets after Jesus.
In fact, the New Testament states quite clearly in many verses that not only will the "prophetic" be used in the Church (Followers of Jesus Christ), but that during an entire time period (NOW) God will pour His Spirit out in such immense measure that young men, old men, women and children would be "prophesying".
Prophets, are one of the ministries mentioned by Paul as members of the "five-fold" ministries, anointed by God to help and lead the Church (Followers of Jesus Christ). (Apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists.)
Look up the word "prophet" and "prophecy" on the website www.blueletterbible.com. You will find as many instances as you have time to study.

Look it up, Bubba. Nobody in this kingdom does anybody's homework for them. Never mind the other gospels.
What does the Bible call a believer other than a believer?
Okay, let's get with it.
Shut off the computer and let's go over to the Strong's Concordance.
Quit giving sidelong glances to the Idiot Box.
Bye now!

The Bible doesn't teach this. The church teaches that public revelation ceased with the death of the last apostle.
Islam can accept whatever it likes, because it has no authority from God to do what it does.
As for an unaltered Quran ... whatever happened to those infamous "Satanic Verses"?

Ibn Maj’ah narrated that the Messenger of Allah reported: “between the fly’s wings includes poison even as the different includes antidote. even as it falls contained in the nutrition, dip it, for the sake of Allah, for verily He (Allah) makes the poison (take impact) first and He makes the treatment come very last.” i do not realize why Ibn Maj'ah is authorized to slander Muhammad so. definitely those can not be the words of an incredible Prophet who has an incredible awareness. it truly is an insult hostile to Muhammad! Rahena: all of us comprehend there are not any antidotes contained in the wings of flies. Are you attempting to make Muhammad look even better ignorant? reason that is succeeding.

Zechariah chapter 13
1“On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.
2 “On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more,” declares the Lord Almighty. “I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land. 3 And if anyone still prophesies, their father and mother, to whom they were born, will say to them, ‘You must die, because you have told lies in the Lord’s name.’ Then their own parents will stab the one who prophesies.
4 “On that day every prophet will be ashamed of their prophetic vision. They will not put on a prophet’s garment of hair in order to deceive. 5 Each will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I am a farmer; the land has been my livelihood since my youth.[a]’ 6 If someone asks, ‘What are these wounds on your body[b]?’ they will answer, ‘The wounds I was given at the house of my friends.’
I don't know about you, but verse one is pretty much universally accepted that the fountain in the house of David is Christ. Verse 2 clearly states that in that time the prophets and the spirit of impurity will be removed by God himself. In the gospel Jesus says that everything has been disclosed to him, referencing of he who sent him. If everything was disclosed to Christ, what else would have to be told to another prophet?

good question! I don't think it says that Jesus was the seal of the "prophets" but he mentioned another coming after him. John 16:7-8
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don't go away, the Comforter won't come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
8 When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment
Perhaps that was reference to Muhamad (Pbuh)? Muslims believe he was the last prophet and that the Quran (true word of God) was revealed to him. Notice how it says the followers of Jesus will fall to sin, and how there will be more info. about judgement and righteousness...hmmm. Hope I helped. Peace!

Muhammed was born almost 600 years after Christ.
Then he tried to re-write history and falsify the teachings of Christ:
Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ...
They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross...
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ .
The Bible calls Muhammed a False prophet....
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)
