St. A had 200 members, and mass is at 11:00. St. B had 300 hundred members and mass is at 9:00. There is 7 miles seperating the 2 churches from each other. One day St. A burned down. So the Bishop said the members who go to St. A will now go to St. B. (Most members in both churches income is below the poverty line.) Mass is now held at 9:00 and 11:00 at St. B. St. B was renamed into St. C. Now the two churches are in a tug-of-war Any ideas, are welcome.

wow - that's a challenge. I think what might be best is to continue the combining and maybe offer the second mass at the site with a communial work effort to rebuild after mass?! unfortunately, this has happened a lot in the detroit area due to parishes meing too small to maintain the churches.

the two churches duke it out in a dance off, like in Grease, whomever gets "served" will then have sole ownership of all their faith. And money, yea their money too. Yea. Yea. Money's important. It's yea. Or they can shoot each other, who ever is left after all the ammo is used can form St. C church, yea, they can form it in prison. yea.
