Many insurance companies will insurance people with pre-existing medical conditions. There is an easy way to find out which ones do:

1) Go to http://www.2insure4less.com
2) Fill out a health insurance quote request form
3) Include in the form information about the conditions
4) Insurance agents will contact you with prices.

Please mention to them that you want prescription drug coverage.

It depends on the policy. Many insurance companies will exclude treatment for any condition that was present prior to the insure date. Sometimes this means forever, sometimes this means for a certain period of time. For instance, my insurance company had a one year waiting period for any pre-existing conditions. Another thing to consider is was there continual coverage prior to this new insurance company? Many times, if there was no gap in insurance coverage, you will not be subject to a pre-existing clause. I would find out as much as you can about your new insurance.
