Sounds like you are having some sort of reaction...do you take medications that can be interfering?

It sounds like a sensitivity reaction or an allergy to one of the components in the beer. The best way to find out for certain is to visit your doctor, who will be able to send you for an allergy test to find out which component is causing it. It may also be worth visiting your local pharmacist the morning after you've been drinking, as they may be able to identify it.

I have to say, a lot of us have the same reaction -- good, then don't drink beer. It might be an allergy, it might be a hangover, it might be the effects of too much -- whatever it is, I certainly wouldn't like the result for myself, so I would avoid avoid exposure to the beer.
:) Cheers!

No problem, I was the same. Only difference was mine were black and blue rashes around my eyes. And a leather taste in my mouth. Sounds like you've been beaten with a steel rod.

Thats good, at least you will drink less or not, dont worry not drinking benefits your health. if you get brown stuff on your face that means drinking doesnt sound like a good idea for you,(intolerances/allergies,etc) i see more problems in people who drink too much. Yikes!(also in their appearance)
personally, if i got brown stuff on my face i wouldnt drink anything that caused it, completey, so not worth it. hello. common sense. Duh!

You may be allergic to alcohol... go get tested...
If it just happens when you drink beer it may be a yeast thing...
go see an allergist.

Possibly this could be due to a problem with your liver processing the alcohol. Go and see your doctor.

I think you may have too much iron in your blood. This is a condition called haemochromatosis.
