Yes I believe that God is all knowing. But, I also think God has the ability to choose not to know something. Like before the flood He said He regretted ever making man. I don't think He just said that I think He truely regretted making man. He called Saul to be King only later for Saul to screw up and God took the call away. I firmly believe he can know whatever He chooses. But imagine that you were going to watch a movie. What if you knew every play by play. It wouldn't be too interesting would it? I think it would be more enjoyable to watch it if you didn't know what was going to happen. I think thats how God can be. He wants to see what side of our freewill we will use. I think if we try to say He can't turn off this knowledge then we are limiting Him. Who are we to put limits on God. He's God He has no limits.

The bible is a collection of stories and nothing more. You don't need to base your belief of God on the bible. They are an omnipotent perfect being. In being perfect they are all knowing and all loving. The story of Adam and Eve is a metaphor for us being cast into our incarnations here on Earth and nothing more. You must remember that these were simple people and wouldn't understand the dynamics of reincarnation, it had to be spelled out in simpler terms. A perfect God could not be upset with us much less mad, because he is perfect and all loving. We come here to live charts that we design ourselves. We suffer through everything because we want to learn negativity since we can not experience it on the Other Side. They are all knowing, but do not interfere with our lessons. However if you ask for the help of Azna, she can make a lateral move and turn a head on collision into a fender bender. Please just remember that the bible is just a bunch of stories. Find what resonates with you in your soul.

Hey...
Yeah I think God is ALL KNOWING, but just like others "in the know" God wants to hear the scoop from those who did the sin, or witnessed the sin.
Also it's not as good of an account, when the text would read, "God knew it already, but decided, 'Hey, those scoundrels are gonna do it anyway, but I asked for a report just to see what they'd say.'"

Hello Craig,
This is just one of many opinions: God Is :
All knowing
All loving
All caring
God is represented in His Creation.
God is beyond human comprehension because His Creation
is so vast, awesome,and mysterious.
When one accepts the teachings of the Son of God - Jesus
of Nazareth -- then one understands the essential nature of
God - which is Love.

free will.
no love can be experienced without the right to choose the love.
Are u God?
how could a man possibly know the awesome power that is God.
u are also forgetting time.
outiside of this earth there is no time.
When u say knew before hand you are forgetting before hand may not mean the same thing to God. There is no time like we know it outside of this earth. Now no time that really is hard to fathom.
i love you,

first of all he didn't get mad. He was sad. He asked "where are you?" in a spiritual sense because once they ate from that tree they were no longer on track with God. sry I havent read the story of sodom and gamorah in a long time so I can't explain that right now.

yes, God is all-knowing. he knew Adam and Eve would sin, but he wasn't going to punish them in advance! He didn't really 'find out', it is just the way we finite beings can understand it. Like with the angels thing. It isn't meant to be interpreted literally, it's a story, and it makes more sense that way. You have to listen to explicit, new testament verses that say God knows everything, even the inner workings of your heart.

Yes, God knows everything—including the future. Theologians call this God's "omniscience"—which simply means that He is all-knowing.
We have a hard time understanding this, of course. After all, our knowledge is very limited; even the most brilliant person on earth knows only a tiny bit about the whole universe. But God is far, far greater than we are. From the smallest subatomic particle to the most distant galaxy in the universe, God's knowledge embraces it all. The psalmist exclaimed, "Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain" (Psalm 139:6).
More than that, God also knows all about us—even our innermost thoughts. We may not know what someone else is thinking—but God does, because His knowledge has no limits. The Bible says, "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account" (Hebrews 4:13).
Yes, God is great—so great that we can only begin to glimpse His greatness. But listen: The greatest thing about God is that He loves us! He loves us so much that He stooped down and walked among us in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ. Do you want to know what God is like? Look at Christ, for He was God in human flesh. More than that, He wants you to know Him personally—and you will, if you invite Him into your life today.
God made us for one reason: so He could have fellowship with us. It wasn't that He was lonely or needed us—but He made us in His image so He could shower His love upon us, and we could love Him in return. The Bible says, "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him" (1 John 4:16).
You are right, however: God knew we were going to abuse our freedom and turn our backs on Him—and when we did, suffering and death descended on us. Adam and Eve lived in the most perfect environment imaginable, and yet they listened to Satan's lies and rebelled against their Creator. We have been paying the price for their sin ever since.
But this didn't stop God's plan for the human race! He could have simply destroyed us—but because He loves us, He provided a way for us to come back to Himself. Even before the human race sinned, God knew what He would do: He would send His only Son into the world to become the sacrifice for our sins. The Bible says, "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world ... to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 1:4-5).
Have you come back to God by giving yourself to Jesus Christ? Don't spend your life wandering away from Him, but discover the joy of having fellowship with Him every day. By a simple prayer of faith ask Christ to come into your life, take away your sins and make you His child forever.

Seems strange that this all knowing God needed some angels to spy for him eh? Seems even more strange that God would create man and woman, then create evil, and then make them choose between the two.
People will say God didnt create evil, Satan did. But Satan COULD NOT HAVE CHOSEN something that was not in existence...in oder for evil to have been a choice, it had to exist. Therefore, God created evil. For the only purpose of testing and torturing his subjects. What a kind all loving God he is....

That first one has a lot to do with God giving us free choice, yes he knows what we are going to do, but WE are making the decisions. Kinda like with kids, you know if you leave a cookie on the table the kid is gonna eat it... still you get pissed off when you go in and the damn cookie is gone! May not make sense to anyone else, but I know what I am talking about! I dunno about the second one... we as Christians are sure as hell not all knowing and I am not going to pretend to be!
