Asking her out is part of the process of getting to know a person better. I would however make it a lite date...nothing heavy. An amusement park would be a good choice. I wouldn't even frame your question as if it were a date. More or less something like "Lets go over to the amusement park and have some fun" for starters".
Take your time...don't rush. After all this is the best part...getting to know someone you like.
Move slowly and cautiously. My mother used to always tell me "Be careful what you wish for...you may get it".

I think the only way you can get to know her better is IF you ask her out on a date.
Asking her to go on a date with you isn't a marriage proposal... so go for it. If you already know what she's into, then find a common interest and pursue it together. It's worth a shot.

Don't always listen to your friends. Sometimes you need to do what you feel is right. If you feel you would like to go out with her than ask her. You'll get to know her better when you're on the date.

Well, when you ask someone out, that is usually the time when you get to know that person: by spending time doing things with that person and talking to see if you have things in common. So, if you like her, ask her out.

ask her to go on a group date. take her to a football game at her old high school, or get a group of friends and go to a drive in movie!! she'll feel more comfortable with a group of people and yoru more than likely to get to see more of her personality because she won't be so scared and then you can decide if you want to date her.

well do it the other way around go up 2 her and start talking and then ask her out, if u know she likes u then she'll say yes, and go from there.

what does asking one out, means to you??? If going out translates into sex, well then you should get to know her better, but other than that, going out IT IS the way to get to know someone better.

i think you should listen to your heart. if you like her and you think she likes you, then go with the flow. the worst thing that could happen is that she says no.
