I would say, yes, it does.

"Love thy neighbor." Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, etc.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
The parable of the good Samaritan.

These ideas didn't originate with Christianity, and they're not unique to it, but they are an essential part of Christianity's message.

I am greatly inspired by the example of my neighbors of faith when it comes to service to mankind. It is one of my life's goals to encourage my fellow Humanists to rise to their excellent example. We, too, believe in the kinship of all humans.

No, it contains fables and myths. It also contains some of the worst advice for dealing with your neighbors. It is filled with hatred, bigotry and ignorance. If someone told me they based their morals on the bible I would turn and walk away as fast as I could in the opposite direction. I cannot suffer fools for very long.
