Ever noticed how "war-mongering" the Christian church and the bible is?
Ever read about the Inquisition, the Crusades, abortion clinic bombings, etc.?
Ever notice how now that the US is at war, the US has gotten uber-Christian?
I think you're on to something here.

The difference between those dictators you listed and God is that God, as creator, has the right to destroy his creation any time he wants, and those dictators don't.
Also, those dictators don't have God's sense of justice. For example, God killed the firstborn of Egypt (not "all the Egyptian Children") because Pharoah, after many requests and many plagues, still refused to let the Hebrew slaves go. What was Adolf Hitler asking Jews to do or not to do before he decided to kill them?
Centuries before, God had saved the lives of the Egyptians and many other people by sending them Joseph.
You need to look at God's harsh actions in the light of his more benevolent ones. He created you, didn't he?

that is a good question, Kevin. God has taken care of all those people that you mention and He will take care of others as He sees fit. God is omnipotent. He is a just God. the reason that the first born (not ALL) of egypt was killed is because pharoah defied God. the reason sodom and gomorrah were destroyed is because they were sinning against God. the reason He destroyed everyone in the flood is becaise there were no righteous people on the earth. not even Noah and his family. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. therefore he and his family were spared to repopulate the earth. after all of Gods plans for the salvation of man failed, He then made the ultimate sacrifice by giving His son to die for our sins. you can be saved from hell if you believe in Jesus as your savior.
God was righteous in his wrath toward man. Yes , He is a jealous God. He is also a loving God. He loves you and so do I.
I truly hope that i have helped you understand. maybe someone else can help you more than I. I hope so. God bless you. thanks for the question

God is not a man that you should judge him. He is the JUDGE and He does what he wants with HIS creation. He has destroyed many towns when they didn't obey him. This is just a pause in history that is called GRACE. Grace will soon end and judgment will begin. He has already started to take peace from the world and it won't be long before many will see what the Lord will do. Now is a time of grace when you can repent and humble yourself before him and be forgiven.
Later on it will be like this:
2Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Well, I will admit that in some ways, I have thought the same, but only partially. First, those dictators didnt give a choice. God does. God doesnt kill you or make you accept him or his word. He will allow you to make choices and to do as you wish, even if that means you reject him. Next, many of the dictators didnt base the mass murder upon anything but what they wished, where God did is based upon what the populations did, they way the acted toward him and one another.
Think of it this way. Lets say that you created humans and all else. Now, would you not wish them to at least show some gratitude toward you and thanks? If you gave them your rules, which by the way would only help them to have better lives by following them, would you not expect a bit of gratitude?
Plainly put, God made us and all else. It is his game, his rules. He doesnt need your approval to institute the game or make the rules he wished. The creator has that right over its creation. But then you also have to ask yourself this. Just what did he ask of you and forbid of you that isnt in your own interests and well being? I dont think those dictators were all that concerned with the well being of those they dictated.
Hope that answered you properly and gave you somethings to think about.

God is always just in his judgments, even when it involves worldwide condemnation such as in the flood or the examples that you cited. Since we are living in the age of grace, many people have become accustomed to God prolonging the majority of his judgment until after death in order to allow people an opportunity for repentance. However, there is nothing that states that He is required to do so. After all, each and every person on Earth has sinned (whether they admit to it or not) and therefore has a penalty for their sin which is death. We are not guaranteed any length of time to take advantage of His grace...all we are assured of is if we ask for salvation through Jesus Christ we will be saved....Hope this helps ..God Bless

None of those listed above preached this message
Matt 5:43-48
43 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

God is certainly a dictator in that He demands total devotion and obedience. But that's where the comparison ends. Unlike the list of unsavory characters that you mention, God loves each and every one of us and wants what is best for our lives. He provides for all of our needs and He isn't "power hungry" because for one thing He already has all power.
It amazes me that so many people think so little about the awesome Creator of the entire universe who gives life and takes it away as He sees fit, who sent his only begotten Son to die on their behalf, who is eternal, omniscient, and omnipotent.
Somehow they act like God is just some public figure whom they can critique and who owes them something like an explanation for his actions. It's like a bunch of ants thinking that way about a human who put together an ant farm and who provides for them only even that comparison falls far short of God to men.

considering that there are no 'eye witness' money owed of the Crucifixion, in easy terms 2nd hand comments, your question is moot. IF Christ existed and become crucified interior the Roman way, he carried the go-bar to the area of execution, the place an upright beam become already in place...he become then nailed to the crossbeam which become then related to the upright beam. Jehovah's Witnesses have faith he become impaled on a 'stauros' or stake...Early Jewish rabbis wrote that he become 'hung from a tree'. that is hard to think of how every person could be nailed to "2 parallel products of timber" (meaning they might could be a definite distance aside). it style of feels they might could intersect in some unspecified time interior the destiny???

Okay say your son goes out and kills off 50 people and you are the only one who knows about it. You tell him that it was wrong but he tells you that he is going to continue killing 50 people everyday. Will you turn him in to the police or will you just allow him to get away with it?
Most logical people would turn him in even if he is there son, because he killed 50 inocent people and then didn't listen to you when you told him it was wrong and he shouldn't do that. Did you want to turn him in? of course not hes your son but you can't let him continue to kill people.
Its the same with God. He didn't want to kill the people, but he used his prophets to warn them that God was going to bring down his wrath on them. Moses warned the pharoah about the plagues, Noah warned the people about the flood and what did the people do? They laughed in their faces. They didn't believe him and they continued to sin against God. God didn't want to destroy them but he could not allow them to corrupt others that would otherwise go to heaven.

u cant compare god to other humans what god did in the begining was creat the heavens and the earth as well as adam adn eve , he gave adam and eve strick orders not to eat from the apple tree for it was forbiden fruit , eve done this and hence sin , and since sin came into the world they were out cast from the garden , when the sin came so did sickness plague etc , god flooded the world to rid it of its sinfull pepole etc , and at one time human sacrafices and even animal sacrafices were made to anoit us from our sins , later god decide to give us his son so that no others animal /humans would have to die for our sins , what sadam etc has done is greatly diffrent from what god has done , sadam has killed many that never harmed him or others etc
