HANG UP THE PHONE!
Get off the phone and when he calls and asks what happened, simply say "I have a life ******" and then hang up again!

I have to agree with everyone else...HANG UP! It's one thing to put you on hold for a second to tell the other caller to call back later, but to keep the first caller waiting is just damn rude!!!

hang up i do that with everybody because i think the other person should be cautious enough to click over and say I'll call you back a little later
