If a guy is about 6' or a little taller and a girl is 5'4", is that awkward? I know a lot of people say height doesn't matter, but I was just wondering if it's uncomfortable with that big of a height gap.

Thanks for your help. I just wanted to make it clear that I'm not being conceited or anything. I've always liked taller guys. I was just curious if anyone had a situation where is was uncomfortable.

No, I'm 5'4 and my ex is 6'5 my current boyfriend is 5'10 and there are so many things I miss about my ex's height. I won't go into details, but I've been with my current bf 2 years and there are still somethings my taller ex could do. That's perfect.. It would be odd if it was the other way around.

I've always had the opposite issue, being too tall at 6' - my husband is 5' something, not really short but I'm clearly taller. Didn't make any difference to us! I don't think there are any "rules" to follow - just go with what feels right...best of luck!

That is no problem at all. Now if the girl was 6' or taller and the guys was 5'4" tall, then it would be awkward.

i am 5 2 and my kid's dad is 6 4. it makes life interesting sometimes. height doesnt matter anymore than age or looks. if these three things are bothering you, then you have the problem and need to either grow up or get out of a shallow personality.

It's just fine. I am 5'3" and my husband is 6'1" and we do "Everything" just fine. It's only awkward if you make it awkward. I actually enjoy having a taller man. It makes me feel protected. and I love to wrap my arms around his neck when we are standing, there's just something very natural about it.

actually it is very normal. i have dated two guys that have been way and i mean WAY taller then me. actually boys are starting to get taller and grls are starting to get smaller. soon most people are going to be that way. plus it gives u a reason to wear sexy heels on a hot date! :) have fun

no if you really love him something like height shouldn't matter i have a friend who says if a guy is shorter than her she won't date him. well this really great guy came along and really liked her she didn't give him the time of day and now she regrets that stupid rule of hers

No. I'm 6'2" and my ex wife was 5'2" and we didn't separate because of the height difference, it wasn't even an issue.

Hahaha! I think it looks rather cute. My daughter is 5 ft. exactly and she is dating a young man who is 6 ft. 2 in.
