i also get ice cold feeling deep in my chest and back at times. also numbness along the side of my face or down my leg at times

Im not a doctor but i am a nurse and i think you may have a ruptured disc or even a pinched nerve in your back. I am a little concerned that your getting facial numbness that is radiating down your leg. Is it just one leg? Is your speech or sight affected. If you stand in front of the mirror after your face gets numb are you able to smile? If not I suggest going straight to the er and have an evaluation. If not I would definately call your doctor (im sure he has a service to page him) and explain your symptoms to him he may just want you to go to the er as a precaution but at least youd have a defenite answer hope i helped.
