Probably not.
The way I understand it is this: Muslims believe Allah is the God of the Old Testament. That is, some argue that Christians, Muslims, and Jews believe in the same God, but that Jews and Muslims don't believe that Christ was his begotten Son and through him salvation is offered.
So if I, a Christian, were to say "Allahu Akbar," I would be praising the God of the Old Testament. Now, the God of the New Testament is the same God as the Old Testament...but with his Son having come to earth to bring about salvation, he has done something different.
Since Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet, not the Savior, and *some* Jews believe that Jesus was a prophet, not the Savior, clearly one of us here (the Christian) has a different understanding of what God did when he sent his Son.
So while I would be praising God the Father by saying "Allahu Akbar," I would--it seems to me--be praising God but in some weird way refusing to acknowledge the gift of salvation he sent with his Son Jesus.
This is a good question and very hard--and strange--to try to answer.
I mean, God by any other name is God...sort of. I think by calling God God, and not calling him Allah, I am acknowledging the gift of salvation through his Son Jesus Christ.

I hear that word a lot before Muslim attacked. They attack and burn down my church by yelling Allahu Akbar, They start violent and rioting by yelling Allahu Akbar.
But the problem is Christians are not violent, we are peach, full of love, forgiveness and Strenght. So that word is no use in Christians.

I guess you swallow the false translation of "Allahu Akbar" to mean "God is Great" but Allah is the NAME of The Only True God who is worshipped by the Bani Israil and the other Muslims, and ALLAH is The Name of the Only True ilah.
You can therefore say "ilah Jesus huwa whatever", but ALLAH is the name of the Only True God, 114 times in the Quran, as His Name, so therefore, god is great is a misunderstanding and a fasle translation.
Get it right mate.

that doesnt sound like a christian thing to say what is the signifigance? maybe if it makes sense, then yes.
