One of my best friends went out with this girl who was friends with me, but while they were dating it started to turn into something more, he finally figured it out and dumped her because he said that she liked me more than him. He's not mad at me or anything, and we havent done anything yet, but i was wondering if it is OK to go out with her, or if I should just leave it at friends.

Use the two week rule. After all you are obviously young and everyone will be dating someone else in a week or so. Two weeks and then she's free game.

It is definitely not good to start a relationship with one of your best friends exes. Just think about it... regardless of the fact that your friend has expressed that he is not mad at you, he probably will be when he finds out you went out with her. There is an unwritten rule in friendship that says you never should date the ex-girlfriend/boyfriend of your friend. It opens up the door of anger, jealousy, trust issues, etc. Try and move on if you value your friendship; if not, then go for it.

Their is nothing wrong, with taking it slow, and being friends, take it slow, and see where it leads, first of all you have to see if you, and she is compatible, so just go out and have lots of fun!!

Ask your friend to tell you what how he truly feels about the situation.

ask your friend if it totally okay first. if it is, wait for a bit and still be friends with her then if you still like her, then go for it.
