Well I had to go over your question more than once. If the question is "Could Christ come a second time" I'd have to express my doubt. There is no evidence Jesus ever had sex with anyone, despite all the Da Vinci code insinuations. If he did, I am sure he sired the Osbournes.
But delving deeper into your question, i.e. the stuff you wrote below, I think you make a very smart point. Holed up in their churches, the bible humping cross nailing sheep shagging fellow man is quite likely to miss the second bloody coming of Christ. Jesus, if he existed, was a compassionate, forward-thinking and inspirational man. All men and women I know who share such character, avoid the church like the plague.
Some say this world is too cynical to recognise great change or miracles these days, but I'm cynical enough to question that and suppose the world is too dumb instead. If Jesus Christ were to come back, he'd be on the X Factor, he'd be laughed at a lot and the tabloids would have a field day nailing him in more modern ways. I'd like to think he'd try to be out of the limelight, at least for the first 33 years of his life, and kick back with some agnostics, buddhists, muslims and atheists - to learn the ways of this dumb world, then amaze all of us. Those with high expectations however will always be diappointed. That goed for Jehova's witnesses who expect the apocalyps, but it also goes for the Christians who expect their dreams to come true. they had better open their eyes if their dream does come true.

Actually, in His time, Jesus' first coming was overlooked by the most dedicated Bible scholars and deeply religious people of the day. In fact, they denied Him because he didn't literally fulfill Old Testament prophesy the way they expected. I think it's entirely possible that the popular way the Second Coming is expected today could also be a completely mistaken interpretation, and maybe His return has has been missed or will be missed by many sincere Christians. They may even be the most vocal in denying Him.

Anything is possible. The bible is vague and cloudy, and countless people have spent thousands of years trying to interpret it. Even the early Christians had to re-interpret many prophecies in the Old Testament to make Jesus qualify as the Messiah. Can Revelations also be read in several different ways, some different than the doomsday scenarios of the Left Behind series? Of course they can.

No way. There are over 365 messianic prophecies in the Bible. Only one Being could be the fulfillment of all of them. That is Jesus Christ.
The prophecies indicate He will be coming back in the clouds the same way He left. They also say every eye will see Him. He will touch his foot down onto Mount Sinai during an earthquake that will break the mountain in half. And He will destroy His enemies tyring to stop His return with the "Brightness of His Coming". His return will be like the lightening flashing from the East to the West. All of creation is "groaning in anticipation" of His return, waiting for Him to restore the Earth to a pristine and Eden-like, peaceful state. After this, all nations of the entire earth will worship Him. Don't worry. He is coming back soon!
Do your homework!

except you fail to recognize one thing- he came the first time in humility so that we would know what it truly meant to follow Him, the second time , there will be no mistake as every eye will see and every ear will hear -he will be coming in His full majesty and glory! Some will be fooled by one or more coming before Him but when He comes there will be NO mistaking

No, it is not possible for mankind to have somehow missed the second coming of Christ. The Bible tells us clearly of the things to come first. There is a set order. Things are still happening now, but SOON Jesus will come. We all need to be reading the Bible, studying and praying and knowing what God expects of us, to be able to obey Him and go to Heaven. The gift of salvation is free. BUt, Obedience is the key to keeping it. God bless you all. God loves you the same as me and everyone else. If you seek forgiveness, repent and ask, and He is ready and quick to forgive. Then you must turn from sin. God is sooo good, all the time, He is good.

No, it is not possible. Here's how Jesus described it:
Matt 24:27
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
KJV
Christians missed the tribulation and the anti-christ, and they'll probably be asleep when Christ returns, but they'll wake up fast!

Very possible. He could have been aborted by a 14 year old girl from Jersey who's parents didn't believe her when she told them it was "immaculate" conception.
