She's trying to see what you're going to let her get away with. When she starts biting you, try popping her muzzle (nose) and telling her "NO". If that doesn't start to work, hold her mouth closed and tell her "NO". She'll probably try to wiggle away from you, so you'll need to hold her. She just needs to be taught that you're the mommy, and that mommy doesn't like her to bite.

All she is doing is trying to play, that how dogs play. They do not know the difference until taught. When she bites your hand grasp her mouth. remove your hand and tell her "no" in a stern voice. Then give her a toy to play with, teach her to chew on that and not your hand. As a reinforcement there are sprays you can buy in pet stores, like Bitter Apple and Nature's Miracle that you can spray on your hand or other items. It then leaves a an awful taste in the puppy's mouth. It will not hurt you, the puppy or other items. The puppy learns those things taste bad along with your displeasure and understands not to bite. Remember to show the puppy how to play and with what.

If you keep paying her any kind of attention after she's bitten you, she'll keep doing it. Swatting just tells her you want to play rougher. If one puppy in the litter bites the others too hard, they'll just yelp and leave it alone. They don't want to play if they're going to get hurt. Puppies will stop doing something if they get no reaction out of you either. It's not worth her while to play rough if she gets ignored.
My vet told me to put my hand around my puppy's mouth so that her top lip was pushed under her teeth, and tell her 'no bite'. That way if they bite down it hurts, so they'll soon stop. It worked with mine, but generally ignoring any kind of bad behaviour, like jumping up, is a lot more effective.

Rather than swat her, say NO in a stern voice as you pull your hand away. When you put your hand back to play more, and she does it again, repeat the scold. If you are consistent, this behavior should improve. It's pretty natural for a puppy to do that but, instead of your hand, make sure she has other things to chew for teething.

If puppies are with their mothers long enough, the mother dog teaches the puppies not to bite. So you need to simulate the mother dog. Everytime the puupy bites you, grab her neck gently but firmly and hold her down on her side. You can growl a bit too, or just say no. Keep it up, and she will learn.
Congratulations on your new baby girl!

push down gently but decisively on the bridge of her nose (so her chin is pushed to her chest) and say "no bite" really loud and in a manly voice
Do the same exact thing every time
(thats how mama dogs keep their puppies quiet) if she does it again then say no bite while you are putting her in a kennel in a isolated room. If you are consistant she will learn.
All puppies bite so it shouldnt last too long maybe2-3 mos. but you can curb it by trying this excercise.

She's trying to play with you. Puppy bites hurt a lot to because of their sharp little teeth. Next time she does that and has your fingers in her mouth give her a little tap on the nose and say no. You have to say it forcefully too in order for them to learn and know what your saying no too. Good luck

That's funny.Maybe its a way of saying I like my new owner. Also she is just like a baby she is teething. When she bites on you let her know that's not right.Take a newspaper and roll it and swat her in the head that will let her know that your in charge and what she is doing is not right.Let her know who is in charge. Also she still has a couple of months more to go through teething and bitting on stuff including your furniture.Good luck and be patient remember she is your own new baby.

she si a puppy and puppies like to chew get her some toys. I found that my doxie likes squeaky toys and try some pigs ears, you want to stay away from rawhide it is really bad for dogs. she is comfortable with you that's why she is playing but if you don't get her toys your house will be her toy.
